The trend of splitting lengthy epics into two full-length feature film, has caught on. After Baahubali and the forthcoming Ramayan, it is now Aditya Dhar’s Ranveer Singh-Madhavan starrer Dhurandhar which will have two parts.
The first part of this true-life story will hit theatres in December 2025 while the second part is likely to be released sometime in the first quarter of 2026.
The decision was apparently taken after much deliberation by the Dhurandhar team.
“They had two choices. To either curtail the film’s running time or extend the storytelling into two parts. They chose the latter option,”a source informs.
In the meanwhile Prabhas’s new venture Fauzi will also be released in two parts.
