After giving us super hit music and the most romantic song of 2014 (‘Dard Dilo Ke’) it has been officially confirmed that The Xpose is a hit!
Despite an initial slow start, The Xpose picked up on the weekend due to excellent reviews and a positive word of mouth. Himesh has garnered positive reviews for his performance and the dialogues of the film (which are written by Bunty Rathore) have been highly praised by all cinema lovers. The music of the film has been ruling all the charts and has proved to be yet another successful album for Himesh. The audience have truly loved the film and have said that it has bought back great memories of the golden 60’s era for them.
The Xpose’s National Award winning director Ananth Mahadevan speaking to Bollywood Hungama said “I am very happy that Himesh as an actor got his due from the critics and audiences”.
There are also talks of a sequel for The Xpose being on the cards, but we will have to wait for more information on that. Speaking to IANS about his future plans, Himesh said, “I just want to do one film a year as an actor, but as a composer I would be doing four-five films, very exclusively.”
After The Xpose, Himesh’s next music album is for Sajid Khan’s film Humshakals. Three songs from the album ‘Caller Tune’, ‘Piya Ke Bazar Main’, ‘Look Into My Eyes’ have released and the songs have been very well received. Fans and music lovers are waiting for the full release of the album. We can also look forward to hearing Himesh’s music in Sajid Nadiawala’s Kick and also in the Sooraj Barjatya – Salman Khan film Prem Ratan Dhan Payo where Himesh will be working with lyricist Irshad Kamil.
The Xpose is now running successfully in cinemas across India.
