O’Romeo’s Hussain Dalal all praise for Shahid Kapoor – “One of the finest actors of our time”

Vishal Bhardwaj’s O’Romeo, which stars Shahid Kapoor, is ready to hit the big screen tomorrow, February 13th. A revenge drama, O’Romeo also features an impressive set of actors, including Triptii Dimri, Avinash Tiwary, Nana Patekar, Farida Jalal, Disha Patani, Tamannaah Bhatia, Vikrant Massey, and Hussain Dalal. Leading up to the release date, the cast has been sharing their amazing, creatively fulfilling experiences of working on this movie. Most recently, Hussain Dalal took to Instagram to shower Shahid Kapoor with praise.

Calling Shahid, ‘one of the finest actors of our time, he continued his admiration, appreciation, and applause, writing, “Having written for Shahid bhai before, I knew he could breathe life into any character. But acting alongside him? That was a masterclass. I have never met a more focused, selfless, and deeply passionate artist. His dedication isn’t just for his own craft—but for the film as a whole.”

Adding, “I remember being lost in a scene, unsure of my approach. Shahid bhai senses it, “Tu stressed lag raha hai, let us both go through the graph of our characters together for half an hour. While the lights were being set, he sat with me like a mentor. He broke down our beats, asked what I was feeling, and helped me design our chemistry. Every scene I have is with him, and what an honor it has been. Whenever I faltered, his expertise and kindness were my safety net. For a year of shooting — from 6 AM calls to 4:30 AM wrap-ups — he never stopped checking in, never stopped pushing me to be better.
