Parineeti Chopra takes on a new avatar that of a singer with her first song ‘Maana Ke Hum Yaar Nahi’. This single, from the upcoming film Meri Pyaari Bindu gives us taste of Parineeti’s soulful, singing talent. Composed to hummable, poetic lyrics by Kausar Munir, with music by the great Sachin-Jigar, ‘Maana Ke Hum Yaar Nahi’ is full of gorgeous mellifluous notes.

Parineeti Chopra’s single is someting special, keeping both the song and video understated and soothing. The young actor has rehearsed and prepared thoroughly before taking on the mantle of a singer, and the results show in the song!
Saying it was nerve racking when she first stepped in the studio, it turned out well only having to give the song two takes. Adding, “I am excited as it has been a lifelong dream but I never thought I would be a playback singer. I always wanted to sing my own song so I am happy.”
