Abhishek and Aishwarya are both fed up of being constantly asked when the stork is going to visit their house. In fact, the duo are said to believe that the issue of parenthood has become a national phenomena which has family and fans questioning the issue.
However, the couple have decided that it is next year, 2010, that they will finally get down to make way for a child. According to sources, Ash is working overtime in order to make way for a baby and “family affairs.”
Supposedly, this decision has come because the couple have been completely scrutinized by relatives and fans close and far, “The two of them are fed up of relatives, strangers and relative strangers asking them when the stork is visiting. Secretly, they feel pressurized. It’s as if their parenthood is a public issue. Even when they are at airports waiting to board flights, over-exuberant ladies rush to them with an inquisitive look on their eager faces. Even before these fans open their mouth, Abhishek knows exactly what the question is, and he gets visibly annoyed. Aishwarya handles such over-inquisitive attention far more graciously,” claims a source close to the couple. In fact, neither the Bachchans or Rais have been forcing the couple about matters including parenthood which have helped the couple make a more planned decision.
Currently, Ash has multitude of projects in the pipelines including, Vipul Shah’s Action Replay, Shankar’s Robot, Mani Ratnam’s Raavana and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Guzaarish, followed by Abhinay Deo’s Crooked. Her schedule is completely packed and yet, she has a whole host of directors who are waiting to sign her for their next films; Rohan Sippy, Vishal Bharadwaj, Rituparno Ghosh and Ashutosh Gowariker are just a few names.
A source close to Ash claimed that this is an extremely “busy phase” in her life which has yet to be seen by any “married actress.” However, the queen-bee is extremely lucky to have Abhishek by her side. He insists she complete any projects she desires before indulging in motherhood, and he would support her all the way.
