Prakash, there are reports that the shooting of season 4 of your Aashram has been moved to Amer after fans thronged the Jaipur set, causing filming delays?
This is not true at all! Where do such stories come from? And who is the source for this report? It is ridiculous!
You mean the shooting has not been moved to Amer?
Not at all! We don’t have any schedule in Amer at all. Things are going super-smoothly in Jaipur. Maybe that doesn’t go down well with some sections.
You mean the fact that things are going smoothly?
Smooth is boring,rough is exciting.
Are you enjoying shooting the fourth season of Aashram?
I enjoy every single second of my shooting . Whether it is a feature film or a web series, for me every moment behind the camera is precious.
Which of your films have you enjoyed shooting the most?
Tough one. Damul was special as it gave me the opportunity to do what I really wanted to, it got me major recognition. I also enjoyed Mrityudand, which you always tell me is your favourite from my films…Rajneeti was also special.
You are working on a sequel to Rajneeti?
Yes. We will soon be making the formal announcements on the casting.
Will Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif return?
Ranbir’s character is dead, remember?
Yes , but Divyanshu was brought to life in Mirzapur. What is Bobby Deol like after stardom?
He is an absolute delight! If you are hinting at any change in him, he is still the same genial hungry actor.
Aashram turned the tides for him?
He has worked hard to be where he is. He has earned his stardom.
Bobby acknowledges your contribution?
That’s generous of him. But if Aashram worked for him. His presence in the series also worked for the series.
When will you wrap up this season of Aashram?
We complete the Jaipur schedule by 24 October. Then we have to shoot for five days in Uttarakhand.
