Alia Bhatt will join Prince William, Rami Malek, Sachin Tendulkar, Simone Ashley, and Sonam Kapoor in Mumbai for the Earthshot Prize 2026 Awards Night on November 17, 2026.
The star-studded environmental awards ceremony will bring international stars, innovators, and 5,000 guests together in India’s financial capital.
Alongside Alia Bhatt, the ceremony features Oscar-winning actor Rami Malek, cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, Bridgerton star Simone Ashley, and Bollywood actor Sonam Kapoor. Earthshot Ambassadors Robert Irwin and Nomzamo Mbatha will also participate.
Filmmaker Karan Johar will host the evening, while popular Indian vocalist Shreya Ghoshal is set to perform live. For the first time, the Earthshot Prize awards ceremony will be streamed globally on Prime Video. It will reach audiences in more than 240 countries and territories, broadcasted in over 40 languages.
Speaking on her involvement with this project Alia Bhatt says, “The Earthshot Prize is really about hope… but hope that comes with ideas, action and people who are finding new ways forward. That’s what makes it so inspiring to be a part of. There are people across the world doing incredible work to protect and repair our planet, often in ways we may never have imagined. And to have Mumbai bring all these people together feels very special.
