After her role as Abhishek Bachchan’s sister in Raavan, Priyamani is looking forward to doing more roles in Bollywood. She has been signed up to play opposite Suriya in RGV’s much-anticipated Raktha Charithra about the political in-fighting in Andhara Pradesh which also stars Vivek Oberoi as real-life gangster-politician Paritala Ravi.
Meanwhile, Priyamani has been working on Yeno Onthara with Golden Star Ganesh, a remake of the Vijay-Jyothika hit Kushi. The stars recently finished an item number involving 90 dancers in Delhi. “Ganesh and Priyamani shot for a few scenes for over 10 days,” says the director.
With so many busy things going on in her life, Priyamani doesn’t have time for romance and has recently denied rumours of a relationship with Jagapathi Babu. “I acted with Jagapathi Babu in my first Telugu film, which became a big hit,” she explains, “I also acted with him in the recently released Pravarakyudu. My next release Sadhyam is also with him. But I have also acted with other heroes like NTR, Ravi Teja and Nitin. I enjoy a good friendship with JB but there is nothing more than that.”
