It seems people just cannot get enough of Priyanka Chopra, as actor Arjun Kapoor recently declared Priyanka his favourite actress at the red carpet of Zee Cine Awards.
The 28 year old, who struck fame in Ishaqzaade alongside Priyanka’s cousin, Parineeta Chopra, said, “Best actress this year (2012) is Priyanka Chopra. She has done terrific work in Barfi!. She has done a wonderful work. So, she has to be my favourite actress for this year.”
Priyanka received much praise and appreciation for her role of Jhilmil in Barfi, which was a box office success.
When asked about his favourite song of 2012, Arjun picked another Priyanka starrer, “My favourite song has been Deva Shree Ganesha from Agneepath. I think that song has helped me a lot in my workout. Every day I workout listening to that song. So that’s my favourite.”
Arjun, who shed 40-50 kg for Ishaqzaade, will now be able to star alongside his favourite actress in Gunday, which will be his second major release and his first film with Priyanka Chopra.
2013 looks set to be Arjun Kapoor’s year as we will also see him star in Aurangzeb.
