Just when we thought Priyanka Chopra couldn’t impress us more, she’s surprised us yet again. Not only was the actress named to TIME Magazine’s list of 100 Most Influential People, but she celebrates her achievement by gracing one of the magazine’s six covers.
The annual list is highly coveted and recognizes pioneers, titans, artists, leaders and icons who are changing the world.
Priyanka’s write up in the magazine was authored by her Baywatch co-star, Dwayne Johnson. “It’s an amazing time to watch as [Priyanka] pierces the U.S. market. She has an ability to inspire people to do more and achieve more,” he wrote.
In the midst of her huge success in Bollywood, Priyanka is currently involved in a number of high-profile Hollywood projects, including the ABC series Quantico (which has been renewed for a second season) and the upcoming film, Baywatch alongside Johnson, Zac Efron and others.
While her industry colleagues like Hrithik Roshan, Anupam Kher, Ali Zafar, Parineeti Chopra, Alia Bhatt and many more offered their congratulations via Twitter, Priyanka remained humble:
What a way to start the day! #Time100’s list of achievers! Humbled, overwhelmed and feeling so blessed! pic.twitter.com/oFp9pGlHLI

Priyanka isn’t the first Bollywood star to be recognized by TIME magazine. Aamir Khan was named to the TIME 100 in 2013 and Shah Rukh Khan was named one of 20 Asian heroes in 2004.
