Priyanka Chopra has shown no fear in signing up to be the host of Fear Factor 3 – Katron Ke Khiladi. This third edition of Colors’ high earning show, formerly hosted by Akshay Kumar, will focus on cricket in an effort to weave together the magic of IPL and Bollywood. “It feels fantastic to be associated with one of the biggest shows on Indian television today and it fits perfectly with my personality,” Priyanka announced, “I have been a huge fan of FF-KKK and thoroughly enjoy watching it. I am looking forward to beginning an all new innings in TV with this show which pumps up the adrenaline levels. It’s exciting to be a part of the concept which is unique and is associated with some of the biggest names in cricket.”

On the eve of receiving her National Award for Fashion, Priyanka has been talking about how she chooses her characters. “One thing I had clear in my head that acting is about versatility,” she explains, “I didn’t say no to a negative role in Aitraaz and was not unduly perturbed because Meghna Mathur, the character she played in Fashion, had shades, which are not expected of a typical Hindi film heroine. Even now I am doing Anjaana Anjaani, an out and out romantic film but at the same time I am preparing myself for what could be the role of the lifetime in Vishal Bhardwaj’s Saat Khoon Maaf, where I am playing a lady who has had seven men in her life. And by the end of the year I would be doing some high-class action in the sequel of Don.”

Priyanka is just back from a couple of months in the States shooting Anjaana Anjaani and says she enjoyed working with guys in her own age bracket. “It’s good to work with actors of your own age,” she says, “You are talking about the same things. There is mutual understanding as well. I have that with other actors of my age group as well. But Anjaana Anjaani was a different thing altogether.”
