Bollywood superstar Priyanka Chopra recently started shooting for Bajirao Mastani. The actress is training with a linguistic expert to study and understand the finer nuances of Marathi language in the 17th century.
This is authentic PESHWA Marathi and the actress has a coach for her always on the set. The words in PESHWA Marathi are very different and difficult so Priyanka had to take a 15 day coaching. Sanjay Leela Bhansali has also made sure that the coach is always there on set for her so that he can help the actress with the nuances and the accent of the language.
Priyanka spokesperson says, “Yes, Priyanka is learning Marathi under the guidance of a special coach.”
