As we told you and have teased you with earlier this week Priyanka Chopra will be seen dancing to a special number in the forthcoming Sanjay Gupta-directed Shootout At Wadala.
What is cool is that ‘Babli Badmaash’ is an retro-style track that is an ode to the energetic 80s. It has been composed by Anu Malik, rendered by Sunidhi Chauhan, written by Kumaar and choreographed by Ahmed Khan.
As we showed your earlier in the picutres and teaser Priyanka is looking super fine in her costume for the song. Priyanka’s look in the track is designed by Manish Malhotra. It is a tribute to Amitabh Bachchan’s famous bulb outfit from ‘Yaarana’ (1981), with a modern twist. It’s made of leather and rubber (reminiscent of Zeenat Aman’s erstwhile slinky gowns) with LED lights fitted to it, accentuating Priyanka’s sexy curves.
Says Ekta Kapoor, “Priyanka’s first association with Balaji had to be special. We went through numerous tracks before finalising on what we all felt was a winner. Priyanka has taken it to a new level and will become synonymous with Babli.” Adds Tanuj Garg, CEO – Balaji Motion Pictures, “Priyanka’s inclusion in the project further elevates the potential blockbuster status of Shootout At Wadala.”
