Through the ages of cinema, we have watched entranced by countless tales of men, women and in recent times, even homosexuals. Miraj entertainment Ltd are now breaching the barrier and coming out with “Queens! Destiny of Dance.” For all those that think Bollywood’s been evolving, this film, will be a latest addition to that evolution, as it will be the first ever movie based on trans-genders a.k.a Hijras, that will portray their lifestyles, by taking a different, yet realistic approach.
To begin with Queens! destiny of dance released their music yesterday evening.The audio was released in the presence of Seema Biswas, Laxmi Narayan Tripathi, debutant Archana Gupta (starring in the film) Hema Malini, Mukeshji, and Yuvika Choudri gave their blessings and best wishes for the film’s success. Also Rishi kapoor made a last minute presence and congratulate and encourage the team of Queens! destiny of dance. The Monday evening witnessed the glim and glam of Bollywood to welcome the innovative film “Queens! destiny of dance” presented by Miraj Entertainment Ltd.
The music is worked on by Anurag and famous singers like Kailash Kher,Shreya Goshal, have given their best results ensuring a satisfying music. Information about a new song called “Hay Lamana” has already been let out, which is a catchy up-beat number, whilst sufi song by Kailash Kher promises to caress the soul. Also “pum pum papaya” an Hinglish number adds a western touch to the film.
The movie, which briefly narrates the issues that a Hijra goes through in India, will have actual Hijras along with the star-cast enacting the film. The film is an example of the efforts to bring out the change in the society as far as the Hijra community is concerned, points out the flaws in our nation, that brags one of the biggest democracies in the world, itself has an issue to deal with the subject of sexuality and the discrimination’s that come along with it.
