One of the films we have on our list of ‘we must know more and see’ is Aanand L Rai’s Shubh Mangal Saavdhan starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar. We loved them in Dum Laga Ke Haisha and now we can’t wait to see them in this exciting, quirky romantic-comedy.
RS Prasanna, has directed the remake of his hit Tamil film Kalyana Samayal Saadham. In an earlier interivew Ayushmann explained what this version is all about, “It is the rebirth of the same story but the milieu and humour is different. It’s amended to suit Bollywood.”
Revealing more about the Shubh Mangal Saavdhan Bhumi has said, “We play a couple who are deeply in love but there is a twist in the tale.”
Setting the stage for the trailer, which releases on August 1st, we have a very cool teaser featuring the jodis characters Mudit and Sugandha, the not-so-hot and not-so-cool couple
We certainly can’t wait to see the trailer and the experience Shubh Mangal Saavdhan when it releases on September 1st.
