Rumors have been swirling about who will be starring opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Aditya Chopra’s next film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. There were and still are reports that Sonam Kapoor had landed the role and also that Deepika Padukone will be making a guest appearance. Well, now there is a new twist in the kahani because it seems there are three newcomers who are vying for the role.
The three newcomers are currently in Mumbai training for the role as well as doing screen tests. A source revealed, “The film has to go on the floors by May 15 to be able to make it to the release date. Adi has finalised three newcomers who have been put up in different hotels. They arrive at Yash Raj Studios twice a week at different timings and Adi shoots scenes with them. This has been going on for over two weeks and he is expected to take a call by the month-end.”
Aditya is having a hard time choosing who will land the role of a lifetime. He was going to leave the choice up to his hero but Shah Rukh says, “I’m only an actor and do not interfere as far as casting is concerned. Adi has told me that they have selected three girls. He wanted me to choose one but I am not comfortable with that. I have left it to Adi.”
According to reports, one girl is named Simran and she is from Punjab, another girl is from Mumbai and the third, not much is known about her.
