Ah, the Bollywood kiss. Unfortunately, it is still in premature stages and evokes pathetic states of outburst from many conservative viewers. However, films don’t quite give a damn, with leading actors locking lips in every other movie these days. While Emraan Hashmi has mastered the act, fellow actor Rahul Bose seems to be catching up!
“I kissed Laila Rouass in Split Wide Open, Perizaad Zorabian in Mumbai Matinee. And in Govind Nihalani’s Takshak, I kissed Nethra Raghuraman. Lately, I’ve kissed Saba Azad in Dil Kabaddi. So my kisses spread far and wide. Did I kiss Rinki Khanna in Jhankaar Beats? I can’t remember,” says Rahul. That’s quite a track record. When you can’t remember who you’ve kissed, maybe you’ve been smooching just a bit too much!
Add to that list kissing Mallika Sherawat in the upcoming Maan Gaye Mughal-e-Azam, which is making waves for its exciting promos. Rahul explains, “It’s not as though we volunteered to kiss. It was a part of the story…I must say all the kisses I’ve done so far have been integral to the script, barring the one in Mumbai Matinee.”
He also mentions that he is excited about his upcoming flick with Mallika even though they didn’t get to spend as much time on the sets together as they did during Pyaar Ke Side Effects. This is because there was a much larger cast this time around.
So for those interested in checking out the latest kiss on Rahul’s long list, make sure to check out the film.
