“While shooting in Paris, he would take the whole cast and crew out for meals after packing up the day’s shoot. And he would pay for it all,” says a source close to the production house.
Director Ayan Mukerji adds that “the party quotient on our film shoot was at its peak during the Paris schedule. Ranbir had a lot to do with it. He’s a great guy to party with when he’s in the mood. My most memorable night during the shoot was when we all went out after wrapping up our schedule in the south of France. Ranbir was a great sport with the whole crew, and has continued to be one through the rest of the film.”
Even during a schedule in Manali, the actor apparently treated the team at a popular place called Johnson’s Café. Ayan says, “He (Ranbir) believes the crew should have a good time. He’s always been generous with his time, energy, money and enthusiasm.”
