Randeep Hooda and Alia Bhatt are sharing screen space in Imtiaz Ali’s Highway, and have been doing quite a few road trips for the same. Jammu and Kashmir is their current shoot location, along with other states like Haryana, Delhi, Punjab, Rajasthan and Himachal.
This Tuesday, the crew began shooting an important sequence of the film in Pahalgam. They have been filming on the upper side of the Aru Valley. Both Alia and Randeep are apparently at their Kashmiri best as they play a Kashmiri couple. Reportedly, the Highway team has secured permission and also special police protection has been asked for as they are shooting in the villages. The team has also shot in the snowy areas of Chandanwadi.
Highway is presented by Sajid Nadiadwala and directed by Imtiaz Ali and the music is by A.R Rahman. It will hit the screens on 13th December 2013.
