The fabulous Rani Mukerji plays the character of Naina Mathur, a teacher dealing with Tourette Syndrome in the forthcoming YRF production, Hichki. In the film, tackling her involuntary nervous disorder to first become a teacher and then tackle societal hichkis by nurturing a motley crew of less privileged and rebellious and irreverent kids, Rani’s journey is all about overcoming weaknesses and stigmas and converting them into victories. ‘Phir Kya Hai Gham’, the latest song from Hichki, captures this spirit perfectly.

This catchy song in the beautiful voice of Shilpa Rao inspires us to brace for life and all that it will dish out bravely. It’s about believing in ourselves and having faith in our dreams and capabilities. Composed by Jasleen Royal, the lyrics have been written by Aditya Sharma and Neeraj Rajawat. This song echoes the spirit of staying positive no matter what the circumstances. ‘Phir Kya Hai Gham’ is the perfect musical salute to the spirit of Hichki.

Directed by Siddharth P Malhotra and produced by Maneesh Sharma, the movie is set to touch the hearts of audiences when it releases on March 23.
