After the outspoken journalist Meera Geti of No One Killed Jessica, Rani Mukherjee is all set to come back in action with Aiyyaa, which is also giving her the chance of fulfilling a dream. She will be paying tribute to three legendary ladies from the 90s: Sridevi, Madhuri Dixit and Juhi Chawla by donning one look of each of the actress’ from one of their many popular films. Rani is displaying Sridevi’s famous ‘Na Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai’ (Chaalbaaz, 1989), Madhuri’s popular Dhak Dhak look(Beta, 1992) and Juhi’s avatar from ‘Ghazab Ka Hai Din’ (Qayamat se Qayamat Tak, 1989).

These 3 actresses are the ones Rani really looks up to, and has keenly watched all their movies and idolizes them. She has also tried enacting their styles.

In Aiyyaa, Rani plays a girl whose parents are desperately trying to get her married. She says that this is something each and every girl faces, and that is why girls of marriageable age will really relate with her character Meenakshi Deshpande, a Maharashtrian girl. “To some extent, even I can relate to my character,” she added.

Aiyyaa releases in October directed by Sachin Kundalkar and has Rani dancing to three different dance styles: Belly dancing, Tollywood and Lavani.
