It is safe to say that Ranveer Singh is currently one of the most stylish actors in Bollywood. He outfits feature at fashion websites quite frequently, where they are carefully analysed
BollySpice presents Ranveer Singh’s style evolution, with some of his best looks but also some of his most forgettable outfits!
When he started in Bollywood his style was much more conventional and taking risks was not in his agenda. Plain tuxedos combined with matching shirts were a staple in his wardrobe.
Grey suit and shirt for the presentation of Ladies vs Ricky Bahl at the Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF) in 2011.
Full black outfit at DIFF 2011.
But as his career progressed his style also evolved and the actor began to experiment with colours and textures.
Grey suit by Burberry, SAIFTA 2013
It seems that as his moustache (required for his role at Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram Leela) was growing, the actor also acquired a different taste for fashion.
Tan brown suit combined with banana leaf print silk shirt, both by Ermenegildo Zegna, 2013. The outfit is fine, but the accessories are a no-no.
Grey striped suit and paisley shirt, at the Hello! Hall of Fame Awards 2013. Stripes and print in the same outfit? And what about that hat?
Print overdose! (Impossible) wolf print suit by Sanchita Ajjampur, 2013
Golden-black tuxedo combined with studded shoes, at Deepika Padukone’s success party 2013. Nobody can deny he stuck to the black and golden dress code…
In 2014 the actor, who was enjoying a very good moment after the success of Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram Leela, offered some of his most memorable (but also some forgettable) outfits.
Printed Versace suit and Louboutin shoes, Filmfare Awards Nominations Party. The suit is weird, and the blazer is too baggy. If he had at least left those glasses at home…
Tom Ford tuxedo and Dior brogues, OK Screen Awards. Although the velvet jacket was passable, the main problem was that this outfit was not a good fit.
Lavender suit by Tom Ford, IIFA Awards. A risky choice, considering that most men opt for dark colours for this kind of events, but somehow he managed to look vary dapper.
When it comes to casual wear, Ranveer goes crazy! There are no limits for colour combinations and style crossovers.
Denim look with a psychedelic print Adidas jacket and matching t-shirt, combined with a gold chain (??) and gold Nike sneakers.
The recent campaign to promote his latest film Kill Dil left us with some of his craziest outfits. He also sports a new (and radical) haircut for the shooting of Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani, so all sorts of hats and caps have been part of his wardrobe recently.
No words, but nobody can deny that Ranveer Singh devotes himself to the promotion of his films!
Jet black floral embroidered banghdala by Rohit Bal. And those glasses again…
Sometimes fashion forward, sometimes wacky. Ranveer Singh’s style does not go unnoticed. Tell us your say. Is Ranveer’s style a model in Bollywood or is he too extravagant?
