Born and bred in London, RDB have always given music that is remembered and celebrated in the British Bhangra genre. Their talent helped them successfully crossover to Bollywood and they have since given music to film such as Namastey London and Kambakkht Ishq. The trio have also performed live with Akshay Kumar at the International Indian Film Awards in 2007. The performance is arguably one of the most innovative and unforgettable and included Kumar giving his vocals to a well-known RDB Bhangra track. It seems, on the whole, that their association with Bollywood has been primarily through Kumar.

Fans of the music producers-cum-DJs-cum-singers will be excited to hear that they have now teamed up with the Deols for forthcoming flick Yamla Pagla Deewana. The film, which will bring Dharmendra, Sunny and Bobby Deol together once again, has been named after the popular song from the film Pratigya. The soundtrack will include a House remix of the title track which will be sung by the very talented urban Asian artist, Parichay. Nindy Kaur has also been rumoured to have sung a track in the film with the legendary Sonu Niigaam.

Yamla Pagla Deewana’s first look was revealed on 5 November and caught the industry’s and fan’s attention instantly. It has been reported that the film will see both Dharmendra and Bobby Deol play conmen and is set to release on 14 January 2011.
