Top Barbados-born singer Rihanna has confirmed that she will join Bollywood singer Aneek Dhar in a romantic duet on his first album, Khwaishein. His producer confirmed the story: “It’s true that we are going to work together with the two artists. The music of Rihanna is very popular in India. We hope to do it within the next three months and also make a video together.”
19-year-old Aneek Dhar won the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge in 2007 with an incredible 36 million votes on television. He is about to enter movies by singing for a West Bengal movie starring Prosenjit but he hopes soon to break into Bollywood.
Rihanna has a whole string of hit records behind her including SOS, Umbrella, Take A Bow and Disturbia. Rihanna created the Believe Foundation in 2006 to help terminally ill children and was lauded for her efforts in finding a bone marrow donor for a terminally-ill woman. She also took part in Madonna’s Raising Malawi campaign. It’s rumoured that Rihanna may be marrying Chris Brown as soon as next weekend.
