riteish-photographyRiteish Deshmukh loves photography and the talented actor has a penchant for clicking pictures.

Interestingly, while shooting for his upcoming movie, Banjo, the actor met a professional photographer on the sets of the musical drama to capture stills. So intrigued was the actor that he decided to learn photography professionally.

A source says, “During breaks, Riteish would spend time with the professional photographer, Vijay on the sets as he is very passionate about photography and wanted to learn about it in depth.”

“Riteish is an avid photographer and has a good knowledge of lighting. He was spotted interacting with the photographer trying to understand the nuances of photography as he likes to keep himself updated about the latest technology related to camera and lens,” the source adds.

Riteish confirms, “Banjo has been shot at real locations and one such location was the koliwada (Fisherman’s village) where we were shooting for a month. I have always been fascinated with photography right from my college (architecture) days but never paid too much attention to the technical aspects. The Koliwada served as the perfect landscape and couldn’t have been a better time to sharpen my skills. The crew and Nargis were extremely supportive and even modelled for me on a couple of occasions,” he adds.

Banjo produced by Eros International and directed by Ravi Jadhav starring Riteish Deshmukh and Nargis Fakhri, Banjo releases on 23rd September.
