Composers Salim-Sulaiman have been asked to compose the anthem for the upcoming Socces World Cup. And that is not the only good news they’re bringing us. The two composers will be live on stage during the opening ceremony and closingceremony of the tournament.

The anthem will be composed by Salim-Sulaiman and performed by RnB singer Loyiso Vincent Bala, who happens to be Nelson Mandela’s favorite artist, and the Kenyan singer Eric Wainaina. They will join the composers on stage at the ceremony. Salim-Sulaiman are really excited about composing the anthem for FIFA.

In the past the duo composed the popular song Chak De India which actually served as an anthem during the T-20 matches. We might be in for another great song!

This is one of those moment which shows that India is getting globally recognized, not just for the country it is, but also for its music. Jai Ho!
