The next year in Bollywood seems to be all about sequels. What with part deux of No Entry, Partner, Wanted and Dabangg all set to hit our screens, one wonders who will rule the roost. The common denominator in all four of the aforementioned is, of course, Salman Khan. The actor is also all set to be a part of the much-awaited sequel of Mr India, and if the news from the grapevine is to be believed, he will be oozing bad vibes playing Mogambo.
It seems 2011 is most definitely going to be an interesting one for the Khan. Still reeling from the humungous success of his brother Arbaaz’s production, Dabangg, the actor is also all set to make a special cameo appearance in Rajshi’s next. The film, titled Isi Life Mein, is about two dreamy teenagers. Since the early 2000s, the Rajshri banner had – for some reason – started making their films minus the Khan, so this news is sure to come as a welcome surprise for all.
Khan has also recently commenced shooting for Ready, a comeback film for Anees Bazmee. The film, which also stars Asin, is said to be an action comedy drama sure to entertain the audiences.
It’s not just Salman Khan who has a full diary of films for the next year. Shah Rukh Khan’s two offerings, Don 2 and Ra One, will also come in 2011. Also, Aamir Khan will begin shooting for Dhoom 3. Saif Ali Khan, on the other hand, is busy concentrating on his home production, Agent Vinod, which his other half Kareena Kapoor will also star in.
It’s fair to say that if a comparison is made, Salman Khan seems to be in a very cosy place what with big banners and sequels that people worldwide are waiting for. 2011 will surely belong to Chulbul Pandey!
