Salman Khan is by far the most accessible actor and this after Dabangg. The actor is currently shooting for Ready and since the film saw a slight delay courtesy of his eye injury, Khan has taken on himself to ensure that Ready is not held up any further. Shooting for the film, is proving to be taxing and time consuming on the actor who resides in Bandra, found himself having to move to his Gorai beach house in order to save time as the film is being shot in Madh Island. And as he commutes daily, he chooses to avoid the 45 minute drive and instead, is seen taking the ferry which saves him a good 30 minutes.
Those who travel and commute to Madh Island daily find themselves mingling with Salman who has no issues in hanging out with his fans. “Bhai has no hang-ups about using public transport. He’s at ease with the crowds. They come and talk to him. He is truly a man of the masses he cycles on busy roads, travels by ferry and hops into an auto rickshaw not caring a whit about his image,” claims a source from the film.
Producer Bhushan Kumar went on to add, “Salmanbhai is fully charged about Ready and gives it his maximum time. He’s doing music sittings on the set with Pritam, Anees Bazmee and me.” The film will finish up its Madh Island schedule by the end of the month. Much of the film has also been shot in Sri Lanka and the film is slated for a mid 2011 release.
Ready stars Salman Khan and Asin. The film is a remake of the Telugu version which starred Genelia D’Souza amongst other South favorites.
