Sanjay Dutt is definitely a star very much sought after. Recently when he visited the Ajmer Sharif dargah to pray and offer ‘chadar’, a huge fan crowd gathered within minutes and made it impossible for Sanjay to leave the shrine as all the exits were blocked. His fans just didn’t want to let him go, everyone wanted to catch a glimpse of him or, even better, get a jadoo ki jhappi from their beloved Munnabhai. Sanjay tried his best but it was simply impossible for him to greet and hug each and everyone. After three hours, as the situation became more and more chaotic, the dargah security finally called for the local police who helped Sanjay and his two friends who were with him to leave the place.
But Sanjay is not only in demand with his huge fan following but also with the film makers. He is booked till the end of 2011 for film projects like Inder Kumar’s Double Dhamaal and Happily Divorced and Rajkumar Hirani’s third Munnabhai film. Furthermore, he’s said to do, among others, two movies with Ashtavinayak, a project with Ajay Devgn and Apoorva Lakhia’s Mumbai Taxi Service.
Only a few days ago, the Supreme Court granted Sanjay Dutt permission to travel abroad for his film shootings until December 31, 2010. Sanjay intends to go to various locations in Europe, South Africa, Thailand and the USA where he will shoot for his forthcoming projects. Surely, his fans will be more than happy about that.
