Sanjay Dutt is known to be a very loyal friend who can go out of his way for people he cares for. When he did Ajay Devgn’s film All The Best, he was so committed to the production that Ajay appreciatively mentioned that Sanju worked as if ATB had been his own production. Sanju and Ajay share a very close friendship, and Sanju already signed Ajay for his first home production Rascals.

Now he proved again to be a friend you can count on, as well as producer Sohail Maklai who also is a good friend of Ajay. When Sohail realized that his Dutt starrer Knock Out, scheduled for an October 1 release, clashed with Kumar Mangat’s Devgn starrer Aakrosh, he called Sanju who is in Africa on location hunting for his production banner. Sanju immediately agreed that this date clash with his friend’s film should be avoided, and after a call to Ajay the Knock Out release was shifted to October 8 or 15; the exact date is still to be announced.

Sohail Maklai confirmed, “Yes it is true. We all mutually decided to shift Knock Out by a week or two. I called Sanju in South Africa and he took Ajay on the conference and we decided that there is no point in clashing the two films. It would hamper each other’s business. My director Mani Shankar is in Mumbai finalising the edit. We have enough time to change the date and plan our promotions accordingly.”

Now this is friendship indeed.
