Saregama India launches Sitaare Zameen Par – Aaj Phir Jeene Ki Tammana

Saregama India Ltd, the premier music destination for South Asian Music and the largest music archive and catalogue in India released a series in September 2010, titled ‘Sitare Zameen Par’ as a salute to Bollywood’s living legends by making an album of their best hits. The last time they honored the legendary Dilip Kumar Saab successfully and this year the honor will be for the famous veteran actress Waheeda Rehmanji.

This album has famous songs remembered by Waheedaji’s presence on it, like “Jane Kya Tune Kahi”, “Waqt Ne Kiya Kya”, “Bhanwara Bada Nadan Hai”, “Rangeela Re”, “O Bekarar Dil” and many more of those beautiful songs from the past proving the saying Old is Gold.
