Soham Shah is all set to direct the remake of Satte Pe Satta and over the past few weeks rumour mills have been churning out a variety of names that are set to star in the remake.
The original film starred Amitabh Bachchan and Hema Malini in leading roles alongside a star cast that included Amjad Khan, Ranjeeta Kaur and Shakti Kapoor, to name a few.
It has been confirmed that Sanjay Dutt, whose production house is producing the remake, will take on Amitabh Bachchan’s role whilst Bipasha Basu is set to take on the role of handicapped Seema, which was played by Ranjeeta in the original.
According to sources Fardeen Khan, Shreyas Talpade and Zayed Khan are set to play some of the brothers in the remake.
A selection of actresses are now being considered for the seven friends of the leading lady that include Celina Jaitley, Minisha Lamba, Rimi Sen, Neha Sharma, Sonal Chauhan and Anjana Sukhani.
Despite the rumor buzz about who will take the main female lead, it is still unclear whether Aishwarya Rai Bachchan or Vidya Balan will take on Hema Malini’s role.
A confirmation is still yet to come from the production house but stay tuned because as soon as it does we will let you know!
