They have a saying in Bollywood, ‘What goes around comes back’. The best example in this case would be Farah Khan. Poor Farah couldn’t have imagined that choosing Akshay Kumar over Shah Rukh Khan for his upcoming movie Tees Maar Kha would widen the ridge between her and good friend Shah Rukh Khan.
Farah shot to an unmatched height with the success of Main Hoon Na starring SRK and then repeated the same magic with SRK’s Om Shanti Om. During the promotional event or on talk shows, both of them couldn’t stop raving about their friendship which apparently is going to hit a rough phase.
It is noted that Shirish (Farah’s husband) had announced three projects with Farah – Allen Sahib, Joker and Tees Maark Kha. After Akshay was roped in for Tees Maark Kha, SRK decided to turn down Joker, the script of which is believed to be written keeping the king khan in mind. Shirish has now approached John Abraham who jumped with excitement about his role and has given his consent for the same. The movie was to be produced by Red Chillies Entertainment.
The sources close to these two friends are blaming Farah’s husband Shirish Kunder for ruining a friendship that was the talk of the B town. It is believed that King Khan dumped series from his home production Zoya factory regarding some creative difference. This led to Farah dropping SRK out of her Tees Maar Kha. The fight continues and in retaliation, Shah Rukh turned down Joker.
With one of the best friends turning into foes, it would be interesting to see how their next venture Happy New Year turns out which is currently under post production and is expected to be released in mid 2010.
