13jul_SRK-Deepika-RajnikanthShah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone are collaborating once again; this time for a song which pays tribute to Tamil Cinema icon Rajnikanth. The song, which is titled Thalaivar Tribute (Lungi Dance), has been composed and sung by Punjabi rapper Honey Singh; though it is not part of Shah Rukh and Deepika’s upcoming film Chennai Express. Rajnikanth is revered by fans across India, especially in Tamil Nadu where he is worshipped like God.

Speaking about the upcoming song, Shah Rukh stated the following to PTI. “Who isn’t a fan of ‘The Rajnikanth’? I had met Honey Singh and Bhushan Kumar five days back and he made me hear the song, which is titled Thalaivar Tribute (Lungi Dance). I found it very apt for Rajni sir and wanted to be a part of it as a fan of one of the greatest actors we have. Deepika, on my request, happily agreed to be a part of the song because even she is a huge fan of Rajni sir. The song is fun, happy and completely Rajnikanth Style!”

Stay tuned as we will be bringing you the song as soon as we get our hands on it!
