Bollywood megastars Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone will be touring both the US and the UK for a new concert venture titled SLAM! THE TOUR. The tour will also be headlined by Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani, Yo Yo Honey Singh, Farah Khan, Malaika Arora, as well as Sonu Sood, Vivaan Shah and Kanika Kapoor. SLAM! The Tour has been designed to coincide with the release of the upcoming film Happy New Year, which features most of these faces and which has also been directed by Farah Khan.
Speaking about the concert in a public statement, Shah Rukh said. “I am blessed to get a lot of love and support from people around the world. This is our way of giving this love back and thanking you all,” said the 48 year old actor. I am super excited and looking forward to being in your city along with the director and the cast of our next film Happy New Year and my colleagues Farah, Deepika, Malaika, Abhishek, Boman, Sonu, Vivaan, Kanika and Honey Singh.” “We promise you an evening of love, laughter and entertainment. SLAM! THE TOUR will commence in the US on 19 September in Houston, Texas, with a date yet to be confirmed for the UK concert. The concert will also Slam New Jersey on the 20th, Toronto the 21st, Chicago on 26th , 27th it hits Vancover, and rounds out the tour on the 28th in San Jose.
