Shah Rukh Khan was injured today while shooting for Farah Khan’s Happy New Year at a suburban hotel in Mumbai. The actor was immediately rushed to Nanavati Hospital.
According to Hindustan Times, a door fell on him. When HT contacted Sonu Sood who is also a part of the film and was present when the accident happened, he said that the problem was with the door’s hinge. “Shah Rukh was passing through the door and it fell on him. He suffered a minor bruise on his head but he is fine now,” he added.
The official statement from SRK’s office says, “Mr Khan had a minor accident on the sets while shooting. He has a minor injury and has got the necessary medical aid. Mr Khan is absolutely fine now. Thank you for all your wishes!”
According to Dr Ashok Hatolkar, medical superintendent at Nanavati Hospital, SRK suffered a minor bruise, which has been taken care of and he is fine now.
