Shah Rukh Khan took to social media for a special Ask SRK session, and it so delivered! In his charming, down-to-earth way, the actor answered questions about his life, encouraged and thanked fans, and even shared some advice. Not only that, but the King also revealed some insight and sneak peeks about his upcoming film King, which releases on December 24th.
As only he can, with his trademark wit, when asked, “How are you so Handsome?”, he replied, “Kya karun. Keep trying, but the handsomeness just keeps growing and growing. Like my hair….!”
So what’s the most King-like thing he does in real life? “Have three cups of coffee in bed before anybody can speak with me, even if I am late for work!! Then, of course, on sets, get shouted at for being late and have no Kingly feelings left!!”
Replying to the query about what he hopes long-time fans will see new in him as an actor in King, “Hope they see the effort everyone puts in to try and entertain everybody. That’s all I want. Like always, if I can make u happy, I am the happiest”
Commenting on his thoughts on Dhurandhar, he said, “Loved both the parts….fantastic by the whole team!!!”
So, what still makes Shah Rukh Khan nervous? “Getting the punch line right!”
Answering how it feels to reunite with Rani and Deepika, he said, “The best ever. It’s lovely always to work with my best friends”
Something that always makes him smile: “My children, children, children, all three of them. They are tooo sweet and funny!!”
He also talked about the action, comedy, and more of King, “Yeah, action is very big, and Sid has really worked hard on it. But I hope the emotions and comedy appeal to you all also”
One of the deepest questions was, “Sir, you’ve taught an entire generation how to dream—but when the lights go off, the crowds disappear, and you’re just Shah Rukh Khan… what is the one dream you still haven’t fulfilled?”
In such a real, heartfelt, and open answer, he replied, “Honestly God has been so kind…the lights never switch off neither do the crowds go….so I think the dream is to be amidst it all and be happy.”
Then it was time to go, and he said in closing,
“Thank u everyone for being on #AskSRK Love u all and see u in the cinema halls. Was fun chatting with you all. Happy Ganapati and have a happy and healthy life. Bye for now”
Then, as a bonus and treat for fans, we got this!
The crowd went wild, and we absolutely can’t wait for more!
Watch this space for all the King news!
