That seems to be the issue for Red Chillies Entertainments’ next production Chennai Express. While lead actor and producer Shah Rukh Khan is bowled over by Katrina Kaif after working with her on Yash Chopra’s return to direction and wants to share more screen space, director Rohit Shetty is concerned Katrina won’t be able to allot dates for the schedule.
Between Dhoom 3, Ek Tha Tiger, her endorsements and whatever else is in Busy Bee Katrina’s plate, the likely-hood of her availability seem slim and what’s more Rohit doesn’t want to postpone the schedule for her. On top of that, there is a possibility the Dhoom 3 schedule is set to be at the same time. However, his choice is veering towards Deepika Padukone, who is nothing but thrilled to work with her debut film hero and producer. And the situation of dates doesn’t seem to register as an issue.
Regardless of who steps into the leading lady role, the combo is definitely worth a watch and is sure to cause a stir in B-town
