The promotion for Jab We Met starring Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor is in full swing and they too are going to promote their movie on TV. Many films are now appearing on several television reality shows and contests as part of their promotional package and Jab We Met is no different. Kareena debuted the soundtrack for the film on Zee TV’s Sa Re Ga Ma Pa and now both Shahid and Kareena will be seen on Star TV’s popular dance show ‘Nach Baliye’, originally it was just suppose to be Shahid.
According to a source, “It will be a celebrity special and will air on October 18. Initially, Shahid was to appear on the show solo and shake a leg to ‘Mauja hi mauja’ from Jab We Met, but now Kareena is joining him. She won’t dance though; she’ll judge the performances with Shahid.”
Manish Malhotra will be designing an outfit especially for Kareena and said, “Bebo told me she would be going on the show yesterday, so I don’t have time to make something elaborate. So I’m going to go with a western outfit, probably jeans and gorgeous top. The look will be young and glamourous, but no bright colours. The sets of Nach Baliye are quite colourful as it is!”
With rumors running rampant that the two stars have recently ended their 3-year relationship one wonders how the producers got the two to agree. “They don’t mind as it’s for the promotion of their film,” said the source. Now the question is will there be any eyes on the dancers or will they just be watching how Shahid and Kareena are acting towards each other. Certainly will be an interesting show to see. Also watch out for Jab We Met when it hits theaters October 26th.
