Ranbir Kapoor’s world tour will commence in 2011 and while the likes of Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif have been locked, talks of Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor joining the troop were in discussion. However, even after Priyanka Chopra took it upon herself to talk to the organizers and get Shahid on board, it seems that her beau will not be able to make the tour after all.
Shahid’s representative claims, “Shahid is being repeatedly offered to be a part of the world tour with Ranbir. But due to his Mausam release and Sajid Khan’s film shoot he has declined the offer.” However, the organizers claim otherwise, “Yes, it’s true that we have approached Shahid Kapoor to be a part of the world tour, but we are still awaiting his reply. Most probably he will say yes. The tour will take place June-July 2011.”
Shahid is known for his innate dancing and has a number of hit songs to his name. He also has an ardent fan following which would draw in hoards of crowds to the show. In fact sources claim that if the two “Kapoors” come on stage together, they would most definitely have a hit tour on their hands.
