Rambo Rajkumar starring the new jodi of Sonakshi Sinha and Shahid Kapoor went to the floors today in Bhuj Gujarat. Directed by the great Prabhu Deva, the film produced by Eros International and Next Gen Films, is set for a November 15th release.
Apparently the first thing to be shot was a song. Prabhu Deva said in an earlier interview, “I like to begin shooting with a song. It makes the entire team happy and light-hearted.”
About the first day Sonakshi tweeted and Whosayed, “Super first day of Rambo Rajkumar! Danced our butts off Prabhu Deva style!! Too much fun and whatta song!!”
The director revealed a bit more about the story and what we can expect from Rambo Rajkumar to Ians, “The script is very much in the Rowdy Rathore space. But this time there is also a realistic flavour to the action. The fights would be raw and real.”
About Shahid’s action avatar in the film, Prabhu Deva says “We will try to tap the action side of his personality in ‘Rambo Rajkumar’. Adding to Subhash K Jha, “What audiences will see Shahid do in Rambo Rakjumar has never been seen in Hindi cinema. We’re working on his character, body language and action. Shahid will have to toughen himself for the challenge. I know he is up to it.”
