Sharman Joshi is riding high as Ferrari Ki Sawaari is getting him all the accolades from the filmy brigade. From Karan Johar to Amitabh Bachchan, everyone can’t stop raving about Sharman’s performance in this heartwarming film.
So what went behind this transformation of Sharman to Rustom Behram Deboo is what is surprising and worth acknowledging. A lot went into the transformation, Sharman had to put on 8 to 10 kgs to look like a Parsi father in his late 30’s. He also had to work on the Parsi accent. When asked about his preparation Sharman said, “We worked on many physicalities. The character is based in a Parsi family. Thanks to my sharp nose, I look like a Parsi. We sharpened the nose even more and popped out the ears. I put on about 8 to 10 kg of weight.”
With this level of passion and hard work put in the characteristics for the role, no wonder the whole industry is going gaga over Sharman. The movie is releasing on the 15th of June.
