For over a decade, SHIAMAK has made dance available for all with an aim to provide quality training to dance enthusiasts from ages four to sixty four across the lower mainland in Vancouver and all over the GTA in Toronto.
SHIAMAK Winter Funk batch gives students an opportunity to learn and train in their favorite dance styles to their favorite songs and gain a wholesome perspective, working on costumes and properties. The annual student show, Winter Funk, one of three yearly events, gives a platform for all participating students to perform on stage in a professional setup.
This holiday season, to truly bring together Eastern and Western Culture- Santa Goes to Bollywood Again- SHIAMAK Winter Funk 2015 show was a great success in both cities. Last year’s memories and experiences made Santa take an exciting trip once again to the land of Bollywood, India, and during his travels, he encountered newer and surprising moments!
On December 12th, music came alive as the students showcased a variety of dance styles and songs at Bell Performing Arts Centre in Surrey and Living Arts Centre in Mississauga.
