After the release Gadar 2 Sunny Deol is currently the biggest star of Hindi cinema. But prior to the film’s release, he faced a slew of crippling flops.
For Gadar 2, he was paid a meager Rs 8 crores, which is not even a fraction of what the other A-list actors demand and get.
A source very close to Gadar 2 informs, “Their budget was only Rs 60 crores. Out of which 8 crores went to Sunny. The other actors, including the director Anil Sharma’s son Utkarsh, charged just token amounts so that the majority of the budget would go into the production.”
Anil Sharma had to forego his directorial fee to ensure the film remained within its stipulated budget of Rs 60 crores.
Both Sharma and Deol are expected to be paid in double-digit crores for Gadar 3.
