The shoot for Prakash Jha’s next film Satyagraha, which stars Kareena Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgn, Arjun Rampal and Manoj Bajpai has begun shooting. The shoot for this film is based extensively in Bhopal, and Ajay Devgn is shooting for it immediately after wrapping up Sajid Khan’s Himmatwala. He will reportedly be in Bhopal till mid-March after which he will come back for the promotion of Himmatwala, which is set to release on 29th March.
Amitabh Bachchan has also reached Bhopal to shoot for this political drama, and also took along Abhishek, Aishwarya and little Aaradhya for a day. Big B wanted the trio to spend some time in his ‘sasural’ i.e., with Jaya’s mother and her family. “I brought them here so that they could meet their nani and also Jaya’s youngest sister and family. The three As went back by the evening,” he wrote in his blogs.
He also tweeted about the film,” Here (Bhopal) now for Satyagraha for Prakash Jha with a host of very important talent – Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Arjun Rampal and Manoj Bajpayee to name a few. A strong powerful subject, intense and gripping.”
