Finally the beautiful Teri Ore
‘Teri Ore’ is the sole love ballad of this album and stands to be the winner that outshines the rest. A soft and soothing track which is sung by Shreya Ghoshal and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. Shreya’s sweet vocals fills the air with romance and allows her to shine in the track. Rahat, who never fails to impress, provides the needed male vocals and completes the song beautifully. The musical arrangements are just perfect and the background Punjabi chorus adds a lovely touch to the entire song.
What can I say, but that I totally agree, Sara. ‘Teri Ore’ is my favorite on the album and a must-add to your playlist. I have listened to it more than any other song on the album. There is gorgeous harmony on the ‘Teri Ore’ lyric. It still has the Indian flavor plus a pretty acoustic guitar as well. Rahat has such a good voice that always has so much feeling infused in every note. Gorgeous instrumental refrain. Just a wonderful song!
Oh yes and I have to add Stacey: The song promo of this one recently aired on television and it is a visual delight as well. The Akshay-Katrina chemistry on the beautiful locations of Egypt gets you all lovey dovey. There is also a Lounge Style but the original is so beautiful we say stick with it!
The soundtrack of Singh is Kinng is an amazing showcase of some awesome Punjabi/hip hop beats that is sure to get you on your dancing toes. It is an out and out party album, and in that aspect it’s a winner. The album mainly fails in the lyrics department, the addition of the English lyrics especially comes as a hindrance in many of the songs. It is also really a shame they did not take advantage of the opportunity to work with Snoop Dogg and have better back up music on his track. Nevertheless, it’s worth a listen.
