After the disastrous first day, both professionally and financially, when the Wills International Fashion Week’s events had to be cancelled due to the lack of appropriate fire certificates, the second day proved a stunner with Sonal Chauhan in particular dazzling the fashionisti with her appearance for Meera and Muzzafar Ali. Wearing a deep red dress and a netted patchwork top, she looked simply stunning.
Meanwhile, the organisers have decided to extend the event by one day with the shows that were originally planned for day 1 now playing on the the last day. “I was very disheartened yesterday but after putting all things together we decided this was the best thing to do,” said designer Nida Mahmood, “All I can promise you is that the show will be fantastic and you all must come for it.” Minissha Lamba was one of the stars unable to strut her stuff on day 1 because of the fire office intervention.
Sonal Chauhan, meanwhile, is enjoying the attention surrounding the upcoming release of Cheluveye Ninna Nodalu which stars Shivrajkumar as a tourist guide. The movie is filmed around the seven wonders of the world – Agra, Mexico, Brazil, Peru, China, Jordan, and Italy – and in a remarkable item number, Shivraj is seen dancing on screen with images of his father – the late, great Raj Kumar.
