Talk about multi-faceted. She was an assistant director, now an actress but it seems the petite pretty Sonam Kapoor, has another card up her sleeve. After starting her career as an assistant to Sanjay Leela Bhansali, we all know that she went on to debut in the forgettable Saawariya and recently was seen in both I Hate Luv Storys and Aisha. But it seems, beyond films and fashion, this young lass has a passion for writing as well.
Given that she was an AD, direction seems a natural progression but writing has also always been a main interest for her. So what does she write? Apparently it is not the kind you note in your diary to recap later or even something that might be used for a movie script. Sonam is actually quite fond of poetry. A fan of the Mahabharata, Jane Austen and the Bronte sisters, not many have seen her private collection poems. She’s highly secretive about it and won’t let anyone in but sources say that she is quite emotional in her writing.
So while her movies have been receiving mixed reviews, we may see another talent soon enough… What say Sonam, the poet?
