He may be absent from the big-screen, but superstar Shah Rukh Khan is never out of the limelight. His home production Ra.One is the talk of tinsel town, especially the daredevil stunts being pulled off by 45-year-old Khan. “It’s so tough on me physically. A superhero film does take a couple of years to be made so I started thinking about it two years back. And I don’t think I would agree for any superhero film two years from now. I am happy that Ra.One got on the floor at the right time.” Even SRK’s other upcoming film, the eagerly-awaited sequel Don 2, is also filled with several high-octane action sequences including a 300 foot base jump and much more.
Another USP for Ra.One is its VFX. “The next big thing in Indian cinema will be technology and VFX. If I am able to manage this, it will be the best thing for our cinema. I don’t know if we have the capacity to make a film like this in India. But I think somebody has to begin. In fact the attitude of my film is let’s begin.”
With big ambition and big dreams for the future ahead, it is certainly clear why the King Khan is and always will be larger than life.
