New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2027 brought together some of the biggest names from fashion, film and pop culture, with several stars stepping away from the front row and onto the runway. From supermodels opening and closing shows to celebrity debuts and unexpected fashion moments, these were some of the names who made an impression on the NYFW catwalk.
1. Christy Turlington 
Christy Turlington opened Sabyasachi Mukherjee’s highly anticipated NYFW return at Spring Studios, wearing a striking denim look paired with pieces from his Met Museum fine jewellery collaboration.
2. Rishabh Sawhney
Rishabh Sawhney made his NYFW debut as the showstopper for Paroma-Àla-Mode, commanding the runway in an embellished all-black ensemble featuring silver detailing, star motifs and a dramatic cape.
3. Romeo Beckham
Romeo Beckham made his NYFW debut by closing Tommy Hilfiger’s Spring/Summer 2027 show, sporting a preppy plaid jacket, pink shirt, colourful tie and relaxed Bermuda shorts.
4. Gigi Hadid
Gigi Hadid opened Tommy Hilfiger’s Spring/Summer 2027 runway, stepping out in an oversized beige blazer, crisp white shirt, tomato-red trousers and a navy bucket hat.
5. Karen Elson
Karen Elson walked Rachel Antonoff and Susan Alexandra’s “Best in Show” presentation in a playful spotted minidress inspired by vintage newspaper classifieds, alongside an adorable rescue pup.
6. Karlie Kloss
Karlie Kloss closed Carolina Herrera’s Spring 2027 anniversary show, bringing the presentation to a dramatic finale and adding supermodel glamour to the fashion house’s milestone celebration.
7.Paris Hilton
Paris Hilton walked The Blonds’ 20th-anniversary NYFW show in a sparkling black-and-silver, Swarovski-embellished bodysuit layered over a sheer black long-sleeved catsuit.
8. Christie Brinkley
Christie Brinkley returned to the runway after seven years, closing Dennis Basso’s Spring/Summer 2027 show in a nude-gold couture gown with a thigh-high slit and dramatic train.
